Speaking

I give talks on London’s hidden histories, with a particular focus on women and the early twentieth-century nightlife that shaped Soho and the West End.

My work draws on original archival research, genealogy, and material culture to bring overlooked lives back into view — from nightclub owners and performers to the communities that formed around them.

I speak for libraries, history societies, cultural organisations, book groups and radio and I’m happy to tailor talks for different formats and audiences.
